WHAT DO WE DO?

ABOUT

WHAT DO WE DO?

Restore Together is a voluntary group which "advocates" on Spiritian Sexual abuse in a collaborative, non-adversial manner for those who attended school at Blackrock College, Willow Park School, Rockwell College, St. Mary's College, St. Michael's College & Templeogue College. Restore Together is a product of a lot of work by different people at different stages. By "advocating", the issue of Spiritian sexual abuse is highlighted in the public domain with a purpose of reaching out to those victims/survivors who are trying to cope with the impact of abuse on their own and to tell them help is available. Restore Together also advocates on behalf of victim/survivors to give them a voice. For too long your voices have not been heard. There are many reasons for that, but we hope that by everyone coming together, that will change.

We encourage and advise the Spiritans to take ownership of their failings and to take positive actions to support those impacted through the development and urgent implementation of a comprehensive Restorative Programme to help bring healing to those who suffered as children and continue to suffer as adults.

Our approach creates awareness for victims/survivors and the broader community so caring help can be delivered over time.

WHAT DO WE NOT DO?

Restore Together does not "represent" any individuals. Sexual abuse is deeply personal and profound.

Restore Together understands the variety and depth of the impacts on victim/survivors, and with this knowledge it can suggest victim centered help options with the Spiritans, professional agencies, and at government policy formation level.
